Licensed Therapist

My Mission

My mission is to help kids and teens navigate through an ever-changing world filled with technology. Having a strong therapeutic relationship can make positive impacts in children's lives. Often, kids and teens feel unheard, and I would like to empower them to find their voice so that they use it to get their needs met in healthy, efficient ways.

What it’s Like Working with Logan

I could tell a joke about pizza, but that’s too cheesy.

Often, the kids that I work with call me Mr. Logan. I have had the privilege of tremendous experience of providing therapeutic services in school settings. Families that trust me to help support their kids can expect professionalism, with a healthy dose of dad jokes mixed in. I am someone who focuses first on building and fostering a healthy relationship with kids and teens, then I really dive into skills building and processing.

Often, kids and teens feel unheard, because they are still developing the complex skills of communication and satisfying their needs in healthy ways. Having a trusted adult who they can connect with can be an important element to support new skills and processing big content like grief, trauma, or anxiety.

I take time to understand the interests and hobbies of kids and teens, which is often how I get their attention and investment. I am a bit of a nerd, and I find that my genuine interest and respect encourages kids ease up and start expressing themselves authentically.

I use a healthy blend of therapy styles that include Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I really adapt my approach for each individual, to help make the experience more meaningful. You can expect that I will utilize evidence-based practices and my genuine interest to build a strong connection with your child.

One thing that is important to remember when working with me is sometimes I am planting seeds for growth. When working with kids and teens, we don’t always see big changes right away. But, the seeds we plant in our sessions will find their way to grow, so kids can thrive in their full lives.

Logan’s Story

I am a Montanan born and raised. Growing up in Butte, my mom is a high school health teacher and my dad a hard working blue collar man. My mom’s passion for teaching and my dad’s value of supporting youth in his free time is where I learned the impacts we can have on children. My parents took in a friend of mine when I was in high school. Seeing how our family could make a difference in the lives of my friend and his siblings, I knew that I wanted to help those struggling at a younger age.

I am a bit of a nerd, and love gaming, pop culture, and anything that is outdoors. While I am not one for snow, I do love the spring, fall, and summers in Montana, and really enjoy spending time outdoors away from the technological world we live in. My friends and family are the most important things in my life, and spending quality time with them helps to keep me grounded.
