The Story of Illuminate

Illuminate is a mental health collective rooted in the belief that well-being isn’t about perfection—it’s about creating space for ease, even when life feels messy. We support individuals through life’s complexities with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit.

With over 22 years in the mental health field—18 of those in Montana—founder Sarah Webb launched Illuminate with encouragement from her friend and colleague, Lauren Boland. Lauren was seeking deeper, more authentic experiences in the therapy room, and together, they envisioned a practice grounded in clinical excellence, therapist well-being, and a workplace culture infused with connection and joy.

Today, that vision lives on through our growing team—Ellie, Becky, Alicia, and Tori—each of whom brings heart, skill, and a shared commitment to healing work. Illuminate is truly a collaborative effort, built on mutual support and a passion for helping others grow.

safety & refuge

Our Logo

The Queen Anne’s lace flower represents sanctuary, safety, and refuge. It blooms only in the full heat of summer—a reminder that growth often requires full exposure and illumination.

At Illuminate, we don’t believe our role is to fix or change our clients—we simply illuminate what is already within them.

We create a space where your inner wisdom can rise to the surface, where you can be seen and supported without judgment. Just like the flower, your growth unfolds in the right conditions—with warmth, light, and room to root deeply. We’re here to walk beside you as that process naturally unfolds.

Meet the Team

  • Lauren Boland, LCSW

My heart-centered approach cultivates healing through attunement, nurture and collaboration. Working with me, your voice will be heard, your emotions validated, and your growth supported. I enjoy working with adults of all ages and genders and older teens and excel with trauma, anxiety, and neurodivergence.

  • Alicia Boone, PCLC

I have a deep passion for supporting young women navigate life, pregnancy, miscarriage, and motherhood. Helping women understand and manage the unique challenges of ADHD is also a specialty, and I provide tools to improve emotional regulation, focus, and self-esteem

  • Becky Johnston, LCSW

Together with my therapy dog-in-training, Benny, we create a relaxed and casual space for women and teens (16+) navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, burnout, or big life changes. If you're feeling stuck or unsure of your next step, we're here to help you reconnect with your voice, feel more like you, and start uncovering a path that actually fits.

  • Ellie Jorgensen, LCPC

My passion is helping individuals and families navigate life’s twists, turns, and roller coaster moments. I specialize in working with children, perinatal women, and family systems, focusing on challenges like childhood behavioral concerns, attachment, big life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and OCD.

  • Tori Kenyon, LCSW

I try to bring a strong sense of professionalism, but also know that I have a naturally playful approach to connection. My varied clinical past has allowed me to develop confidence and skills working with all genders ages 16 to 35. I feel at my most skilled when I’m working with life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and depression.

  • Sarah Webb, LCSW

I am passionate about burnout, anxiety, rage, postpartum, birth trauma, attachment, and healthy coping in women. With expert training in Somatic, Mindfulness, and Attachment, I get to the core quickly so therapy has big impact. Our collaboration will help you reclaim your power and vibrancy.

  • We charge $200 for the intake session and $175 per session after that. If you would like to use your health insurance, we will submit a claim on your behalf. Prior to your intake session, we encourage you to contact your insurance company to ask these essential questions in order to identify any costs you will be responsible for:

Do mental health services apply to my deductible? Is there a co-pay or co-insurance?

Deductible = “Yes” then ask: How much of my deductible is remaining?

Co-Pay = “Yes” then Ask: How much is my co-pay?

Co-Insurance = “Yes” then ask: What part of the percentage is mine?

  • We are in-network with: Aetna, Allegiance, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Focus, Cigna, First Choice Health, Pacific Source, Medicaid (Becky, Ellie, Lauren, Tori & Sarah only), Mountain Health Co-Op, and United. If your insurance is not listed, we will charge the full rate and provide you with a Superbill. You can turn this document into your insurance for possible partial reimbursement.

  • We do not offer sliding fee scale. If you still need support for your therapy costs, we encourage you to reach out to Suffer Out Loud for their scholarships. We also recommend Montana State University's Human Development Clinic for services at a reduced rate. If all this fails, please call 211, where the Help Center can give you even more ideas.

  • Counseling gives you the chance to talk with someone outside your everyday life—someone trained to understand human behavior, relationships, and the nervous system. It’s a space where the focus is entirely on you: your thoughts, your experiences, and what you want to change or understand.

Whether you're processing something difficult or making an important decision, counseling offers support rooted in both empathy and expertise. Research consistently shows that safe, supportive relationships can make a real difference—and counseling can be one of them.
