My Mission
My mission as a team member at Illuminate, is to be a part of a collective that embraces you, empowers your wild, and cares for your spirit. Rooted in unconditional love and respect, my commitment is to be with you while journeying towards experiencing embodiment through nourishing mental health and growing resilience.
What it’s Like Working with Tori
You are human; Me too.
Working with me is a human-to-human experience—grounded in connection, curiosity, and care. It’s a space to wonder, to check in with that small yet wise voice inside, and to say out loud the thoughts and feelings that often go unspoken. Here, your pain and your sparkle are both welcome.
I aim to walk alongside you in your meaning-making journey, guided by the principles of freedom, respect, and the grounding power of unconditional love. My approach isn’t about fixing you—it's about witnessing you, holding space for your story, and gently asking, What if? What if something could be different?
Maybe you're used to saying "I don’t know" more often than not. That’s okay. You’re here, and that’s a beginning. It’s changing something already.
I often work best with clients who are navigating the fog of trauma, grief, or life shifts—those who are surviving or have survived deep losses, who feel uncertain, and who want to try even when the path forward isn’t clear. We can create that clarity together and find the healing that is ready for you to awaken.
The chorus in my favorite song, asks “Are you a life force?” This question and definition: “the force…that gives vitality or strength“ or “the spirit or energy that animates living creatures; the soul”. This resonates in my practice — soul-centered, whole human focused, and strength forward.
If you’re considering counseling because you know or want to believe that life can feel different—more connected, more meaningful—I’ll meet you there. And maybe we’ll arrive in our fun earrings, the comfy pants that allow us to stay awhile, and hike together in your journey.
Tori’s Story
I am an east coast transplant who could not resist the wild that the west has to offer. Daughter to a carpenter and a massage therapist, I grew up in a culture where visiting others and working with their dreams or working with their pain was natural. I may not use a hammer, and I may not know shiatsu, but I do know that when there is a will and an idea, there is a way.
Collecting cookbooks, living my free time living through the eyes of my dog, farmers market finds, unique meals, and planning my next adventure are some of my hobbies. You may find me hiking, fly fishing, curling, or shopping for fun local art. I am a strong believer that time with friends is time well spent.
