What is the cost of therapy?
We charge $200 for the intake and $175 per session. If you have insurance, we will submit a claim to your insurance for you. However, we encourage you to ask these essential questions to your insurance company to identify the costs passed on to you:
1. Do mental health services apply to my deductible or is there a co-pay or co-insurance?
Deductible = Yes, Ask: How much of my deductible is remaining?
Co-Pay = Yes, Ask: How much is my co-pay?
Co-Insurance = Yes, Ask: What is the percentage of my responsibility?
We are in-network with: Aetna, Allegiance, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, First Choice Health, Pacific Source, Medicaid (Ellerey, Lauren & Sarah only), Mountain Health Co-Op, and United. If your insurance is not listed, we will charge the full rate and provide you with a Superbill. You can turn this document into your insurance for possible partial reimbursement.

We do not offer sliding fee scale. If you still need support for your therapy costs, we encourage you to reach out to Suffer Out Loud for their scholarships. We also recommend Montana State University's Human Development Clinic for services at a reduced rate. If all this fails, please call 211, where the Help Center can give you even more ideas.

What questions help me decide if you're the right therapist for me?
The best question. Our therapists have some of these questions answered here and here. Questions we suggest include:
1. What is your approach to therapy?
Mental health providers come to mental health healing from many different perspectives and from a variety of different training. Your therapist should be able to clearly describe their perspective on healing and mental health as well as what strategies they use to be a collaborative partner in that process with you.
2. What is your training and experience?
Different answers might appeal to you as a result of the therapist's answer. Some therapists have big life experiences, but maybe are newer to the therapy field. Some therapists have deep training in one type of theory or issue (ie postpartum mental health, anxiety, trauma, depression, OCD, etc). Some therapists are generalists. Trust your gut as to what feels right to you about a therapist's training and experience.
3. What are your thoughts on how and why people feel better?
Again, listen and trust your yes's and no's.
4. Is all my information shared here confidential?
There are actual limits to confidentiality in the medical field, and your therapist should be able to clearly define those limitations to you and their method of responding to those limitations.
5. Why did you choose the training you have chosen for your credentials?
There are lots of ways to enter the mental health field, so asking this question gives you a peek into that therapist's passion in the field.

How long will I be in therapy?
Interesting question! You're a curious one! Our therapists have found that we see most client between 6 months to 1 year (sometimes longer). Healing and evolving takes time. We promise two things:
1. We always remain collaborative partners with you to determine the direction, frequency, and duration of treatment.
2. We will pursue and integrate cutting edge training to provide the most effective support for your needs.
