Ellie Jorgensen, LCPC
Licensed Therapist
My Mission
Each client requires unique treatment, so I strive to shape my counseling style to compliment a client’s change process. Depending on the type of counseling provided, I use evidence-based research theories, models, and techniques to assist in personal reflection and growth for individuals, families, and children.
What it’s Like Working with Ellie
If you’re looking for a counselor who balances warmth, flexibility, and a touch of humor, I’m here to help.
What I love most about this work is helping clients discover who they are, deepen emotional bonds, and move through feelings of shame. I feel privileged to support self-discovery, whether it’s exploring challenges, reflecting on growth, or finding new perspectives.
My passion is helping individuals, kids and families navigate life’s twists, turns, and roller coaster moments. I specialize in working with children, perinatal, and family systems, focusing on challenges like attachment, life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and OCD. My methods are grounded in science and care, but I also believe that growth happens when we feel seen, supported, and sometimes even share a laugh.
My approach is rooted in human connection. I use relational and developmental methods such as Attachment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy, and TheraPlay, while also incorporating the mind-body connection through Somatic Experiencing. For OCD, I utilize Exposure, Response, Prevention Therapy (ERP), a proven approach to managing intrusive thoughts and compulsions.
I prioritize meeting clients where they are and tailoring the work to fit their readiness for change. My goal is to help you feel more connected—both to yourself and the people who matter most—while learning to move with emotion rather than feel overwhelmed by it.
Together, we’ll embrace the uncertainty of change, find comfort in discomfort, and build stronger, more meaningful relationships. Healing relationships may sound ambitious, but we’ll take it one step at a time.
