My Mission

¡Bienvenidos! I am passionate about helping individuals and couples seek greater authenticity and alignment between their life and their values. I strive to provide a space that feels affirming yet pushes the bounds of what we may have thought possible for ourselves. Ofrezco psicoterapia en inglés y español.

What it’s Like Working with Me

I enjoy this work because my job is to make space for the conversations that feel impossible to start.

I bring my whole self into every moment we share - genuine curiosity about your world, compassion for your journey (especially the parts you’re not proud of), and presence for whatever you're experiencing. I seek to deeply understand your history, values, and goals to support the ways you want to grow while building a practice of self-compassion. This includes acknowledgement of the role of structural systems of power in what you may be experiencing.

Therapy is a place to honor our bodily wisdom and curiously examine the stories we've been carrying - celebrating the ones that lift us up and gently releasing the ones that no longer fit who we're becoming. It can help us reimagine our worldview and sense of self, and set genuine intentions for our lives.

In my work with individuals and couples, I aim to build a secure therapeutic relationship and help clients be more authentic and vulnerable through validation, empathy, and gentle confrontation. I weave together approaches from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Relational-Cultural Theory, and trauma-informed healing to create something uniquely supportive for you.

I prioritize listening to truly understand, and practice cultural humility through a commitment to lifelong learning. My intention is to craft a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and deeply understood as you explore yourself, your relationships, and the path ahead.

Servicios en Español: También ofrezco servicios de terapia en español con el mismo amor y cuidado. Para más información, por favor complete nuestro formulario de contacto para agendar una consulta gratis.

My Story

Raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands, I landed in Bozeman after a number of adventurous years living abroad and in a van. I miss the ocean and take every opportunity to be by an alpine lake as a substitute. My career has taken a winding path through governmental, non-profit, and corporate worlds, but ultimately I pursued counseling as a way to align my own life with my values. It’s important to me to walk the talk.

I love expanding my perspective through travel and being out of phone service range. In my free time I enjoy thrift shopping, admiring Montana wildflowers, walking my dog Roo, and watching sunsets. I am a budding gardener (pun intended) and am on a quest to incorporate more hobbies into my life.

Beliefs & Values

I believe that genuine connection makes life richer and more fulfilling and is worth working hard at.

I believe that emotions are the key to understanding our values and needs.

I believe that two opposite things can be true at the same time.

I believe in asking questions that don’t yet have answers.

I believe in the power of vulnerability and authenticity.

I believe everyone’s experience is valid and important.

I do not believe in pathologizing normal responses to broken societal systems.

Creo que todos/as deben poder acceder a servicios de salud mental en su primera lengua.
